A HEALING CONNECTION

Today, it is all about making a healing connection. Are you trapped in a prison of your own making? In trying to protect yourself from the world’s negative forces, you might end up locking yourself up from life. I know that, I did that for years, then I broke out, and it was a scary but exhilarating feeling, and now all I want to do is touch and FEEL again, because it does feel good. I want to impart and infuse my own contribution of love, back to the world and the universe. There indeed is no greater feeling than realizing that you truly are in control of your destiny and happiness. Sometimes you hurt, sometimes you smile, that is LIFE! HAHAHAHAHAHA, and life is beautiful and good in all its imperfections, hills and valleys, life is good, and it is for the living. So, dare to live, which is the title of one of my favorite songs by Andrea Bocelli, VIVERE!

As usual, it will not be the same without all your support, please continue to support my work, by leaving your comments and feedback on my website, social media and most of all, the cheapest but most generous gift, SHARE! I take so much pride and time in creating this work, it is 3 am, and I have to rise up in 2.5hours and live the real reality of life, kids, and all other important things. Yet, when my soul and passion called for this message, I stayed up all night crafting and editing my work, because as I go to bed soon, I am hoping that while I sleep, maybe someone out there, hurting and numb from being numb their whole adult life, may hear my heart, and start to ease the shackles off.

Is that you? Am I awake this late for you? Well, then it was all worth it. For one, I will do what my heart says do, I LOVE YOU, reading this right now, and you are more worthy of all the attention and peace of the love of God. Seize your happiness, enough playing safe, dare into the world, LIVE, hahahaha, LIVE, or die numb, ….or do you feel dead inside already? Call me, let me lead you out, let me hold your hand, let me hear how you are doing, reach out to someone, even if not me, reach out to those who love you. JOURNEY TO YOUR CORE: WINNING part 3

  1. The race is personal
  2. The prize is subjective
  3. The price is similar; effort/energy/sacrifice

No matter what race or battle you are in, for everyone this is a personal struggle and fight. Some people are in a race, fighting for their life on a sick-bed, they just had a traumatizing diagnosis, they need to win, live. Others are fighting for their loved ones, in prison, custody, race for time to save those in battle. Some races are for the sake of the dignity of a human soul, a race to gain back control of your life, freedom, you want to win at being you, without any restrictions or from some negative people in your life, you are in a race to learn something, learn to forgive, let go, move on, let in, love. Everyone is in a race to win, but each race is very different

The prize is subjective, definitely, what each person is fighting for has a different meaning at the end when they win. No two prizes will feel the same, the accomplishment of each goal means something different for each one of us

woman-dancing-in-rain

The price is similar, yes, no matter what race you are in, it involves energy, movement, action, and also sacrifice. Depending on what you want to win at, it will not happen without some level of action. So, ask yourself. You might want to win win win, but, do you know what race you’re in, do you have the tools for your journey, do you have help, a team effort, what prize are you playing or gunning for, and are you ready to do what it takes, sacrifice, put in effort and energy?

Thank you, I hope you enjoyed this short training on WINNING. If you did, please let me know and also share with you friends and social media, that they too can be blessed. Do not forget to leave your comments and for more questions, email me at pearlsofourlives@gmail.com

Journey to Your Core: VIDEO – WINNING part 2

“No one wins a race alone, to win you need a team” Mah

In part two of the topic on WINNING, I spend 5 minutes discussing two main things, no matter what race you are in, no one wins a race alone, every winner needs a team! What race are you in, and who is on your team? Are you struggling by yourself, are you in a race that will take years to accomplish, which could have taken just a few months had you found a good team? How about, in the case where you are winning, who are you taking with you on this journey? Are you lending a helping hand to someone else?

Snip20150910_16

HONOR YOUR COMMITMENTS

In my last post, I talked about the importance of honoring you role to yourself. I said that the most important human being on this earth should be you, not so that you can be selfish, but that your role as your champion should lead you to pursuing the best of life, so that you can be and give your best to those you love and who depend on you.

Today I want to talk about honoring you commitments, not only to yourself but to others. When we accept who we are and what we are here for, it is no secret that we enter into commitments with people, with our jobs, home leases, cars, friendships, marriages, and many other forms of commitments. However, how much practice do we have with keeping our commitments?

Truth is, a lot of us fail at commitments, not because we are bad people or not trustworthy, it is hard to do your best every day and succeed at it every single time. So, we get hard on ourselves, we feel dejected and sometimes we are afraid to try again, to make it right. What we forget is that the people we disappoint, or the people we think will not forgive our wrongs, are just as human as we are. We often let ego get in the way, and we reject ourselves even before we are rejected.

Make your commitments and keep them. Be the best colleague you can be, try to be the best partner, parent, child, friend. Know that dropping the ball is part of life, but know and have the humility to ask for a second chance to make things right. People are not as hard-hearted as we think. We make them that way when we behave in a manner that makes them feel they need to protect themselves from you. Avoid making a habit of breaking your commitments, for sooner than later, you lose the relationships you have worked hard to build, whether in business or personal. Do not however, run away from commitment, how else will you achieve your goals if you do not commit.

This week, practice your commitment to the little things, and then the big things. If things do not go according to plan, regroup, try to make it right, and if it is too late, move on and be better on the next task. Let me hear and read from you, what is your take on honoring you commitments? Have you made a commitment to yourself, that you will pursue a particular dream, goal, purpose, explore your gifts? What is going on with that commitment, what are you doing to honor your commitment to the most important person on this earth, you? Dig in, reach deep and commit to begin the most authentic you, that you can be, then try each day to be the best of that authentic self, see the magic happen. It may not rain money, buy oh it will rain joy, and soon enough, your joy in your purpose and authenticity will lead to the comfortable life you crave, financially, spiritually, emotionally and in relationships. Have an amazing week!

LASER FOCUS TOWARDS DESTINY

I love new beginnings, they are amazing to the mind and heart. The wonderful thing about new beginnings is you can create your own whenever you like, you don’t have to wait for someone else to start it or give you permission. You don’t have to wait to conform to man-made new starts like new year. You decide when you need to start over, whether it is Monday, Thursday, March or August. So, I challenge you today, are you yet on that path to realizing your utmost purpose on this earth, have you found the key to why you are here, how confident are you, that you are where you need to be, doing what you were called to do and there is nothing more you want?

My Challenge: Today, look in the mirror and ask the image starring back, if the decisions you are currently making, honor the path in that journey to revealing the greatness within you. If something doesn’t seem right, do something about it. Remove the obstacles, be laser focused on creating the best life for yourself. It won’t take a day, but it won’t happen either if you don’t live with intention.

You are the light of the world, so shine bright!

5 WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE – WOMEN’s DAY ISSUE

I call them my League of Extraordinary Sisters. They are from Cameroon, in the motherland of Africa. They have qualities that dare you look away. They have INFLUENCE. They reside in different parts of the globe and they are involved in different professions. Their sphere of influence is as different as the strands of hair on their head, and because of that, neither one is greater than the other, for what one lacks in one department, the other has in abundance, and what she lacks, her fellow Cameroonian sister has. Combined, they have POWER of LEADERSHIP!

On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of the Woman, I have handpicked, carefully assessed, and now I raise my voice and the voices of my other sisters, to say “well done”, to these fine examples of Leadership, grace, talent and bold Cameroonian women of substance.

They are neither up nor down, they look-not sideways but forever upwards, and that is why their star keeps rising. They are talk show hosts, Publishers, Motivational Speakers, Entrepreneurs, Fashion Designers, Educators, Business Moguls, Pastors, Authors, they have been featured in magazines, on runways, LA Times, NPR Radio, and so much more! They are not looking back to see who’s watching, they are inspiring, breaking the mold, and creating new legacies. We can stand to take a moment to say, well done sisters, daughters, mothers, friends, THE ULTIMATE AFRICAN WOMAN. I have the pleasure of knowing them on different personal levels, and it is no surprise that I see the things I do. Be inspired by these Five Women of Substance from Cameroon.

So, whether from a distance or near, they have each influenced something about me, my journey, my dreams, my hustle; they are my mentors from near and far, and as they rise, a new generation of hungry women rises with them. So in no particular order, but simply as my brain will remember, World, I give you, Cameroonian Women I am proud to know on this weekend ushering the celebration of the International Day of the Woman 2015.
